Granite monument

This monument is an example of classical Russian monuments of the 19th century. In those days the production of monuments mainly implied the creation of a high pedestal, often embossed with an integral cross on it. If in those times the cross could be made of many different materials, depending on the wealth of the family of the deceased, including wood, in this embodiment it is made of granite.

As in the samples of the 19th century monuments, this tombstone includes in its composition a high pedestal and a big cross. On the pedestal made of black granite an epitaph, years of life and the name of the deceased are carved. The cross on it is made in the classical traditions of Christianity.

A tombstone of black granite is found at the site covered with the same material. The fence is created by the artistic forging and also performed in the classical style of the monument.

The general ensemble reminds headstone monuments of granite produced in the 19th century, despite the fact that it was created in 2005. The height of the monument is 2.3 meters.
