A contemporary sculpture of a Dreamer depicts a simple man, house builder. He is making use of the lunchtime break, has closed his eyes for a moment absorbed into his most cherished dreams. Among the construction ruins and waste, surrounded by fuss and mess, the house builder reflects on the human and divine nature. A tormented, tired man deserves a moment of happiness and inspiration, and it is occurring to him unexpectedly, by chance. The sculptor reminds us in his work that joy and light are beside us, almost inside us. We have to search for them in ourselves and see them in invisible things, even in the most unsuitable environment. The philosophical sculpture by Ivan Korzhev teaches a viewer to smile just unpredictably, to keep the dreams and believe in them.
