This composition of three bronze sculptures is called “Sale” and depicts representatives of the first oldest profession or, to speak without parables, prostitutes. We remember that the topic of prostitution has been mentioned by such classics of Russian literature as Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Kuprin, who called for "mercy for the fallen." Korzhev interprets it differently. His characters are dressed quite revealingly, but accoeding to the modern fashion, their facial features are similar and typical... If it was not for  characteristic postures, the heroines of the work would not be distinguishable in the crowd of their respectable contemporaries. This modern sculpture symbolizes the moral condition of our society, in which the venality of everything has become commonplace, and for some it has become a norm. «Sale» is an expensive sculpture. Yet the devaluation of values, which it depicts, costs us more.
